Hard Dog Roll Bars

If you're serious about roll over protection, then you need a bar that's bolted to the chassis. Not only will this guarantee maximum strength, but will also tighten up the chassis. Hard Dog's hand built roll bars combine style with strength and are manufactured using the highest quality mandrel drawn steel, powder coated black or highly polished 304-Grade stainless steel. Instructions, Grade 8 mounting hardware and powder coated 4.75mm back-up plates compliment the bars.

We stock the most popular bars, in black: M2 Sport with Double Diagonals, Deuce Centre or Side Braced and Extreme. All other bars and options are available to pre-order.

* On M2.5 models, although the seat headrest may touch the bar, this does not effect travel. Tilt will be slightly reduced.

Hard Dog M1 Sport

Using the same hoop design as the Hard Bar, the Sport adds rear bracing for maximum strength. Hoop mounts below the seat belt tower with 3 bolts each side, rear braces mount to the structural framework just forward of the rear wheels with 3 bolts each side. Not compatible with glass screens. One or two diagonal braces or harness bar can be added.

Hard Dog M2 Sport

Compatible with the Mazda glass screens due to the redesigned rear braces. Fits M1 models and some consider the design more aesthetically pleasing. One or two diagonal braces or harness bar can be added.

Hard Dog Deuce

The Deuce is a double hoop design that echoes classic vintage styling. Each hoop is a single tube mandrel drawn and braced from either the centre or side. Mounted to the structural framework just forward of the rear wheels with 5 bolts each side. Additional mounting in 3 places to the seat belt tower box frame. Compatible with plastic and all glass screens for the side braced version, and plastic and Mazda glass screens for the centre braced version. Harness tabs can be added.

Hard Dog Extreme

A modern twist on the Sport bar. The double X-shaped design is our favourite bar! Hoop mounts below the seat belt tower with 3 bolts each side, the X-braces mount to the structural framework just forward of the rear wheels with 2 bolts each side. Compatible with plastic and all glass screens.

Hard Dog M1 & M2 Hard Core

Based on the Sport bar styling, the Hard Core offers more height for taller drivers and minimal cutting of the plastic trim panels and is aimed at trackday users. Hoop mounts below the seat belt tower with 3 bolts each side, rear braces mount to the structural framework just forward of the rear wheels with 3 bolts each side. Compatible with glass screens on M2 version only. Single diagonal brace and harness bar (tabs on M2 version) are fitted as standard, double brace can be added.
