The New Generation FM Springs
We've always been a fan of the FM springs, a great balance between comfort and performance and stiff enough to help with the reduced suspension travel. If there was a criticism it would be that for some, the ride height would be a little too low.
The new design has a front rate of 318lb/in and the rear 233lb/in. The ride height has been raised by around 10mm which will give the suspension a little more compression travel which on the M1 model is welcomed for the rear.

A comparison of a stock 1992 (red) to the prototype springs (blue). Both cars are on identical 17" wheels. The rear ride height of the prototype is 5mm higher than the production springs will be. |
